Growing in Prayer: Learning to Live

At Smith Grove, we believe in the power of prayer. And while it doesn't come naturally to us, we believe it is vital that we pray together. We want to be the kind of church Jesus described: a "house of prayer."

Part of learning to live means we learn to seek God together in prayer. That's why every Wednesday night at 6:30, we meet together for prayer. No one is expected to pray out loud--you can just listen at first--but we have found that the prayers of other believers often encourage and push us towards a greater personal prayer life.

These times include a brief devotion/instructions, and then we simply pray together for about an hour. It's totally fine if you have to arrive late or leave early. We hope you'll come contribute to our conversation with our loving Father.
