Learning to Live: Discipleship Together

While the large worship gathering on Sunday mornings is essential, the heart of our mission at Smith Grove is discipleship. The intimate interactions that teach us to apply Scripture in our everyday lives and lead us to real growth can only happen in smaller groups.

Therefore, we believe it is important that every believer be involved in a small group of some kind. Small groups are offered in several formats:

Sunday School Groups

Our Sunday school groups meet at 9:30 a.m. We offer a variety of ongoing and short-term classes geared toward every age group, ranging from nursery to senior adults. The environment is relaxed and anyone is welcome to attend. There is no need to be a biblical scholar or expect to be called out. This is a place where community happens at Smith Grove.

Life Groups

Life Groups consist of roughly twelve people of a mix of ages and genders, led by a facilitator or facilitating couple(s). They meet in homes weekly and share prayer requests, fellowship, and discuss spiritual issues in an informal setting.

Life Groups exist for mutual discipleship, encouragement, and support. Through these small groups, we really build family at Smith Grove. If you’re looking to get connected and “go deeper,” join one of our Life Groups!

That sounds great! How do I get involved?
