Ministries

Learn about the various ways Smith Grove serves.

Smith Grove Kids

At Smith Grove, we want to create opportunities for our children to learn, mature, and serve in their walks of faith. We believe it is important to begin working with the children at a young age and encourage them as they grow. We offer programs for all ages including Sunday school, Children’s Church, The Grove, and Vacation Bible School.

Smith Grove Students

Smith Grove Students, for junior and senior high students, meets Sunday evenings from 5-6:30 PM and also during the Sunday school hour at the church. Along with the meetings, different activities are also planned periodically to encourage fellowship and opportunities to bring friends. This ministry works to encourage students to grow in their personal relationship with Christ through Bible study, worship, prayer, and fun.

Smith Grove College

Smith Grove’s college group meets Sunday evenings at 8 p.m. Escape the constant buzz of campus and gather together for a time of Bible study, prayer, and fellowship around a home-cooked meal or snack. Our Sunday nights are highly relational and discipleship-focused; we aim to equip each other to study and apply God’s Word to all areas of our lives.

We also plan some fun activities and outreach events in addition to our normal group time. We invite you to come check us out! You can join our Facebook group for the most up-to-date information.

Men's Ministry

Our men’s ministry provides a setting for men to come together to get to know each other. Activities are planned throughout the year for outreach, fellowship, and service.

Women's Ministry

Connect with the ladies of our church through planned events and fun outings. This ministry provides a place to develop relationships and serve together.

Groups

While the large worship gathering on Sunday mornings is essential, the heart of our mission at Smith Grove is discipleship. The intimate interactions that teach us to apply Scripture in our everyday lives and lead us to real growth can only happen in smaller groups. Therefore, we believe that in addition to worshiping together at Sunday services, it is important that every believer be involved in a group of some kind.
